While working hard to be the best mom I could be, I felt like I was giving up too much of myself. I just wasn’t flourishing as a stay-at-home mom with only the mom stuff to do. When my daughter was older and a local friend reached out for help with her books, I jumped at the chance to work again. I realized that this was a job that I could do from home that would still allow me to be a mom and keep my sanity. From there, my business was born!
It was also then that I realized I wanted other entrepreneurial moms like me to have the best of both worlds too. This is what lead me to write Motherhood, Apple Pie, and All That Happy Horseshit. Through the stories and the concepts discussed in the book, I lay out the foundation for moms to be everything their kids need and still grow a business to support the family. That’s why I really enjoyed getting to talk about Sacred Space and the other concepts with Susanne Mariga, whose story is also in the book, on The Profit Talk Podcast!
