During the launch party for Motherhood, Apple Pie, and All That Happy Horseshit, one of the panelists stated “Passion is not a substitute for math!”. The audience and other panelists loved this statement, and as a data-driven professional and the owner of bookskeep, this really resonated with me. Passion is important, yes, but if the math doesn’t add up, no amount of passion in the world is going to grow your business.
